Big Hit label artists have achieved overwhelming results on the official music chart Gaon Chart "2020 Annual Album Chart."
According to Big Hit and Gaon Chart on the 13th, Big Hit label artists such as NU'EST, BTS, SEVENTEEN, GFRIEND, TOMORROW BY TOGETHER, and ENHYPEN posted a total of 22 albums on the top 100 of the "2020 Annual Album Chart." Big Hit label artists' album sales reached 37 percent of the total sales of the top 100 albums.
In particular, BTS has sold nearly 10 million copies, sweeping the top and second spots in the "2020 Annual Album Chart." SEVENTEEN also ranked third and sixth with both albums becoming million sellers. GFRIEND was ranked in the top 100 with two albums, while NU'EST was also in the top 50.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER, the "Big Hit's Youngest," and ENHYPEN, a "Global Fan Made Group," also stood out in the "fourth generation idol" with top 30.
BTS topped the "2020 Annual Album Chart" with its fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" released in February, recording 4,376,975 accumulated annual sales. This marks the fifth consecutive year that BTS has topped the Gaon Chart's annual album chart.
Second place is also BTS. "BE (Deluxe Edition)" released on November 20 last year was followed by "Map of the Soul: 7" with 2,692,022 cumulative sales.
BTS has landed a total of 13 albums in the top 100 of Gaon Chart's "2020 Annual Albums Chart," including "Map of the Soul: 7" and "BE".
