BTS, the fourth 700 million views MV… 'Idol' also broke through

BTS's 'IDOL' music video has exceeded 700 million views on YouTube.

The agency Big Hit Entertainment said on the same day that the music video for "Idol," released by BTS in August 2018, exceeded 700 million views on YouTube at 11:40 a.m. on the 16th.

It is the fourth music video by BTS with more than 700 million views after "DNA," "Boy With Luv" and "FAKE LOVE."

The 'Idol' music video features sensational images and gorgeous color graphics borrowed from tropical savanna grasslands and Bukcheong lion play.

BTS received the'Music Video of the Year' award at the 2018 People's Choice Awards, an awards ceremony in the field of American music, film, and TV in November 2018.

At the time of its release, it ranked 11th on the U.S. main single chart "Hot 100" and 21st on the British official single chart "Top 100."
