Seventeen's Vernon was released his first solo mixtape (non-regular album) 'Black Eye' at 2:00 pm on the 23rd. 'Black Eye' is a pop punk genre song that harmonizes casually tossing vocals and upbeat band sounds.
Vernon said, "I wanted to show a rough and free side with 'Black Eye'" and "I think this work will be a good nutrient for me to grow as an artist in the future."
"The pop punk genre that deals with various emotions such as anger, depression, and loneliness is attractive," he said. "I captured a side of myself that I had not shown before in 'Black Eye'. I was excited." he added.
'Black Eye' also was released through global music sites such as iTunes, Spotify, and Apple Music, as well as the global music platform SoundCloud.
