Group BTS will hold concerts on October 10 and 11.
On the afternoon of the 13th, BTS posted a notice to hold the concert "BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E" on its official SNS as well as community platform Weverse.
According to the announcement,'BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E' will be held in Seoul on the 10th and 11th of October, and will be performed simultaneously with online streaming and offline performances. Big Hit Entertainment explained, "For offline performances, only some seats will be opened in order to observe the distance between audience seats according to the local government's guidelines for prevention of venues." Details related to the concert, such as the venue and ticket sales, will be announced separately later.
BTS' offline concert has been a year since'LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF [THE FINAL]' held at the main stadium of Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul last October. This concert has the meaning of being the only one online edition performance.
BTS announced in April that it would reschedule the 'BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR' due to the worldwide spread of the Corona 19. After readjusting the entire scheduled tour schedule, They held a live performance "Bangbang Concert The Live" online in June to communicate with fans. "Bangbang Concert The Live" was watched in a total of 107 regions, and the number of simultaneous users reached a new Guinness world record of 756,600, which was evaluated as opening a "new era of on-contact performances."
