BTS 'Dynamite' MV has reached 500 million views...10th career 500 million views

The music video for'Dynamite' of the group BTS exceeded 500 million views.

The music video for BTS's digital single "Dynamite," which was released at 1 p.m. on August 21, surpassed 500 million views on YouTube at 9:06 a.m. on October 20. This marks the 10th time for BTS to have 500 million views.

BTS's 'Dynamite' is a bright and exciting disco pop genre. It is a 'healing song' unique to BTS that aims to deliver a message of vitality and hope in times when everyone has a hard time with Corona 19.

The music video featuring a colorful background and retro-concept props and costumes reached a YouTube premiere viewing record with more than 3 million simultaneous users right after the release, and recorded 110 million views in 24 hours. It was officially recognized as a new record for '24 hours most views'.

Dynamite is also making significant progress on the chart. Immediately after its release, it ranked No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard's Hot 100 chart (September 5), making it the first Korean singer to make history, and has been ranked No. 2 on the latest chart (October 17) for seven weeks.

It is also showing off in the “Billboard Global” chart, which ranks streaming and sales in more than 200 countries and regions around the world. On the latest chart as of October 17, it ranked 3rd in'Billboard Global 200' and 2nd in'Billboard Global (excluding the US)'. 'Dynamite', which has reached the top in both charts, continues to be popular around the world, keeping the top spot.
