"World Star"... BTS, the world's most influential K-pop singer

Group BTS has been named the most influential K-pop singer overseas.

KDOL, Global brand ranking analysis platform, conducted a survey of teenagers in Korea earlier this month. In the survey, BTS ranked first in 'Who is the most influential K-pop singer abroad.

BTS won 60 percent of the vote and produced overwhelming results. It was followed by BLACKPINK (11%), EXO (4%), Psy (2%), and TWICE (2%).

In "When did you feel the Korean Wave craze?" "When BTS topped the U.S. Billboard chart (38%)" was also ranked first, and "Performance (55%)" was cited as a factor in K-pop singers' popularity abroad.

On the positive effects of the Korean Wave, 58 percent said it helps improve national awareness and image, including economic benefits and strengthening pride as a Korean.

Meanwhile, BTS will release its new album "BE" (Deluxe Edition) on November 20.
