Twice, "Filed a complaint against the spread of false information...Sooner or later, civil action will be taken."

Girl group TWICE has announced a hard-line response to the spread of false information.

JYP Entertainment, the agency, said on its official website on the 31st, "We have filed complaints and accusations against issues that have recently been posted and distributed mainly in certain communities due to the timely disclosure of false facts."

They added, "We will soon proceed with civil action by calculating the amount of direct and indirect damages caused by false facts, depending on the nature of the case and the severity of the level."

They also said, "In addition to writing these issues, reckless posting and distribution are subject to legal action, so please be careful not to cause unnecessary damage."

However, the agency did not disclose what false information is spreading around certain communities.

TWICE released its second full-length album "Eyes Wide Open" on the 26th and has been active.
