BTS's "Dynamite" music video has surpassed 600 million views.
The number of YouTube views for BTS's digital single "dynamite" music video, which was released at 1 p.m. on August 21, exceeded 600 million around 12:01 a.m. on November 17. It recorded 500 million views on Oct. 20, followed by 100 million views in about 27 days.
This marks BTS's 9th career, following DNA, Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey), Fake Love. IDOL, MIC Drop, FIRE, Blood Sweat & Tears, and DOPE.
Dynamite is a Corona19, a healing song unique to BTS that everyone wants to deliver a message of vitality and hope during difficult times. As a bright and exciting disco pop genre, the music video features props and costumes from retro concepts and backgrounds using colorful colors.
In particular, not only did the music video reach the YouTube Premier View record with more than 3 million simultaneous viewers right after its release, but it also recorded 101 million views in 24 hours, which was recognized as the new record for "the most views in 24 hours" in the history of YouTube music videos history.
BTS became the first Korean singer to reach the top of the U.S. Billboard "Hot 100" chart (as of September 5) through "Dynamite." It has been at the top of the charts for more than 10 weeks with its name on the latest chart (November 14).
