BTS, RIAA's second Platinum

BTS has received its second Platinum album certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

RIAA announced on its official website on the 17th (local time) that its fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL:7", which was released in February, received platinum certification the previous day.

RIAA will present the digital single and album with gold (more than 500,000 units), platinum (more than 10 million units), multi-platinum (more than 2 million), and diamonds (more than 10 million units).

 

BTS has three RAIA Platinum records: the repackaged album "LOVE YOURSELF 結 Answer" released in August 2018, "MIC Drop" in the digital single category, "Boy With Luv" and "IDOL." It has five platinum certificates, including two albums and three songs.

Meanwhile, "Dynamite," which topped Korea's first Billboard main single chart "Hot 100," remained at the top of the list for 12 weeks after its release. According to the latest chart released by Billboard on Thursday, the song ranked 17th, down one notch from last week. As a result, they continued to break their own record (10 weeks) of entering the chart for the longest "Hot 100" set by Steve Aoki remix version of "Mike Drop" in 2017.
