Big Hit, take over KOZ...BTS and Zico became a family.

BTS's agency Big Hit Entertainment said it will take over KOZ Entertainment, the agency of ZICO, the nation's leading hip-hop male solo artist and top producer.

Big Hit officially announced its acquisition of KOZ on the 18th. KOZ is an entertainment company founded by producer and artist ZICO in November 2018, and has ZICO and Dvwn, a new musician who was recruited last November.

This year, Big Hit acquired KOZ following Pledis Entertainment, further expanding its multi-label system.

 

With the joining of KOZ's Big Hit, led by ZICO, Big Hit Labels is expected to gain two birds with one stone effect: expanding the artist's IP and strengthening their music production capabilities.

Yoo Seung-hyun, CEO of KOZ, said, "The philosophy of KOZ, which values artist and content and aims to innovate the music industry, and Big Hit, which is innovating the business model of the music industry, are similar. We will work hard to find talented artists and promote global business in earnest under cooperation with Big Hit."
