BTS is expected to be nominated for Grammy Awards

 

Foreign media have taken a positive view of the possibility of "BTS" being nominated for the Grammy Awards, the most prestigious pop music awards ceremony in the U.S.

Billboard predicted on the 17th (local time) the 63rd Grammy Awards to be held early next year, saying that BTS is likely to be nominated for one of the major awards, "Record of the Year," for its global hit "Dynamite."

According to Billboard, if "Dynamite" becomes a candidate for "Record of the Year," it will be the first boy group in 20 years to be nominated for the category after N Sync's "Bye Bye Bye." Billboard also picked Billy Eilish "Everything I Wanted" and Post Malone "Circles" as the top candidates in the category.

 

"Record of the Year" is known as the four major Grammy Awards along with "Song of the Year" given to the best song, "Album of the Year" awarded to the best album award, and "Best New Artist."

In addition, the Associated Press predicted that BTS could be nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for 'Dynamite'. The media also reported that BLACKPINK, which has emerged as a leading K-pop girl group, will be named the "Best New Artist" candidate.

NARAS, which organizes the Grammy Awards, will announce the 63rd Grammy Awards on the 24th (Korean time 25th).
