Power of TWICE & NiziU "JYP Enter, 30% Operating Profit Rate Next Year"

KTB Investment & Securities said on the 27th that JYP Entertainment is expected to improve its performance next year due to increased sales in Japan, suggesting a "buy" of investment opinion and 47,000 won of target stock.

The operating profit of JYP Entertainment, estimated by KTB Investment & Securities, will be 58 billion won and 29.9 percent next year, up 30.3 percent from this year. Sales are expected to increase 38 percent from this year to 193.8 billion won.

Researcher Nam Hyo-ji said, "The sales of the album will reach 4.95 million next year, up 28.3% from this year, due to the 2PM comeback and the expansion of contributions of new artists," and predicted, "The profits from the albums and music will increase 16.3% to 84.1 billion won." The company estimated its earnings at 15.3 billion won from the concert.

"NiziU, which is scheduled to debut on the 2nd of next month, is showing amazing results even before its debut," he said. "The song released in advance on the 25th ranked No. 1 on Japan's Line Music's top 100 chart, and Oricon streaming and YouTube performance are also high."

Thanks to the popularity of TWICE, sales of royalties in Japan increased from 18.9 billion won in 2017 to 24.9 billion won in 2018 and 41.2 billion won last year. Researcher Nam analyzed, "As interest in Nizu has been increasing significantly recently, all sectors of royalty sales will grow rapidly, showing faster growth compared to TWICE during official activities."
