GOT7 wins 1st place in the U.S. iTunes

Group GOT7 hit domestic and foreign charts with its new album and double title track "LAST PIECE."

The fourth full-length album "Breath of Love: Last Piece" and "LAST PIECE," released on November 30, topped the iTunes album chart and song chart at 7 a.m. on December 1.

At 8 a.m. on the same day, it ranked second on the Worldwide iTunes album chart and the Song chart, giving a gauge of how hot global interest for GOT7 is.

 

The music video for the double title track "LAST PIECE" also heated up fans' hearts with colorful attractions such as colorful group dance and sensuous production, achieving the first place in YouTube's music video trending world wide.

In addition, the song once again proved its huge popularity by dominating the top of the daily chart of Genie Music, a major music site in Korea, on Nov. 30.

There is a clear reason why GOT7's new work is drawing enthusiastic responses around the world.

The seven members worked hard for about two years after their third full-length album "Present: YOU" in September 2018, thinking only about fans who waited for their new full-length album.

 

To show a variety of appearances, he put forward a double title track for the first time since the group's debut, and completed a richer record with all the members' self-written songs.

In particular, JB and Youngjae wrote and composed the lyrics of the double title tracks "LAST PIECE" and "Breath," respectively, to properly realize the strengths of GOT7.

Pre-released as part of the promotion on Nov. 23, "Breath" has been praised for its refreshing charm, while "LAST PIECE" has a tone that highlights each member's individuality, stimulating repeat playback.
