Gwacheon City announced on the 3rd that it has received 7 million won worth of goods from BTS fan club "Army" to support low-income women.
On the 4th, it is Jin's birthday, and the fan club "Army" sponsored Jin's hometown, Gwacheon, to celebrate it meaningfully. "Army" raised about 7 million won from October 12 to 22 last month, and prepared 244 sets of women's goods for sponsorship.
Gwacheon City will distribute four sets of women's supplies to 61 low-income female students through the Gwacheon City Social Welfare Center. That's the amount a girl can use for 24 months.
"I started a donation campaign for those who want to donate but don't know how or hesitate to do so," said ARMY, who raised the money. Donations are not difficult, but a culture that is close to us," she said.
Gwacheon Mayor Kim Jong-cheon said, "Thank you for your meaningful support at the beginning of the cold winter. We will make sure that donated goods are distributed well," he said.
