About EXO's Popularity

Although it is the ninth year of its debut as of 2020, it is a group that lasts and heats its popularity for a very long time.

EXO is the first Korean idol group to win the grand prize for five years in a row, a million seller in 12 years, the world's shortest record (1.47 seconds) for sold out concert tickets, Guinness World Records for MAMA Grand Prize winner, and the second case of selling more than 1 million solo and group albums, respectively. 

In addition, EXO is a singer whose official commemorative medal was released by the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation to commemorate only EXO. Just because an idol group received a commemorative medal produced by the state, it has already been recognized for their great career.

It is also a group that has unusually stronger fandom firepower as more years of experience occur. Currently, the number of subscribers to EXO-L's official website has been on a steady rise.

 

The proportion of people in their teens and 20s in fandom is quite large and continues to flow in. In addition, the members' active acting activities have made eye contact with the public, attracting quite an unexpected influx of fandom in their 30s and older.
