Girl group TWICE's "Feel Special" has become the most popular K-pop song in Japanese karaoke this year.
TWICE's "Feel Special" topped the K-pop category of the "2020 Joined karaoke Annual Ranking" released by Japan's largest karaoke brand "JOYSOUND."
"TWICE's 'Feel Special' made it to the top for the first time," Joysound said. "It proved TWICE's popularity by posting four songs on TOP 20."
In addition to "Feel Special," TWICE showed its popularity in Japan by posting "FANCY" in sixth place, "YES or YES" in 16th place and "MORE & MORE" in 17th place.
Coming in second place was BTS 'Dynamite'. "The BTS 'Dynamite', which has been gaining huge popularity this year, has also been on the rise, taking second place, not long after it was released at karaoke in September," Joysound said.
The title track of the same name, "Feel Special," contained in TWICE's eighth mini-album "Feel Special," released in September, is a song inspired by a conversation JYP Entertainment's chief producer Park Jin-young had with TWICE members. When faced with a tunnel of a dark heart, it is loved with lyrics about the heart-breaking moments of precious people.
"Feel Special" is loved all over the world, with more than 300 million YouTube views on the 7th.
