BLACKPINK's music video hit 700 million views again.

The music video of girl group BLACKPINK's representative song "How You Like That" surpassed 700 million views in six months.

YG Entertainment, the agency, said in a press release on the 19th that the music video for "How You Like That" exceeded 700 million views on YouTube at 11:25 a.m. on the same day.

 

This is the first achievement in 176 days since its release on June 26. It is also the fastest music video ever to reach 700 million views.

The music video recorded 86.3 million views a day after its release and was listed on Guinness as the most viewed video on YouTube in 24 hours. Since then, it has surpassed 100 million views in 32 hours, 200 million views in a week, and 300 million views in three weeks.

"How You Like That" is a pre-released song by BLACKPINK's first full-length album "THE ALBUM," a dance song based on hip-hop.

 

In the first week of its release, it was ranked the highest among K-pop girl groups at the time on the U.S. Billboard's "Hot 100" (33rd) and the U.K.'s official singles chart (20th).

As a result, BLACKPINK will have five music videos with more than 700 million views. The main characters are 'BOOMBAYAH', 'AS IF IT'S YOUR LAST', 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' and 'KILL THIS LOVE'.
