BTS RM, Grand Prize for Art Sponsors of the Year

BTS Leaders RM, singer Henry, and KT will receive the "Art Sponsorship of the Year" award by the Korean Culture and Arts Committee.

The Korean Culture and Arts Council says it has selected six companies and four individuals from seven categories as winners of the "2020 Art Sponsorship of the Year Award."

In the individual donation category to individual sponsors who caused social impact, RM of BTS, who donated 100 million won to the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Henry, a singer who is discovering musical talent through YouTube's "Henry" series.

KT, which sponsored a difficult small theater in Daehangno in the conglomerate/bank sector and operated the KT Chamber Orchestra for 11 years, and Obi Brewery, which supported Corona 19 in the mid-sized/small-sized business sector, won the award.

In the public corporation/public institution sector, the frontiers category, which is given to the Korea Electric Power Corporation and projects that present new sponsorship methods, will receive value such as Naver TV Sponsored Live, Shinhan Card Digital Stage, and Kakao.

Yoo In-taek, president of the Seoul Arts Center, was selected as the winner in the sponsorship section given to the intermediary who worked hard to revitalize sponsorship.
