The group NCT's second full-length album was spotlighted by the Forbes.
Forbes, a U.S. economic magazine, posted an article on its official website on December 29 (local time) titled "NCT, Completing the Most Popular K-POP Album of 2020 with a Single & Concert with 23 People," and reported, "NCT has proven how to use the NCT system well with its regular album in 2020."
Forbes introduced, "This album (of NCT) is one of K-POP's biggest hits this year," and added, "Pt.1 album has sold more than a million copies worldwide and has entered the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart in the U.S. Pt.2 album also topped the global charts and sold more than a million copies.
In addition, "Beyond LIVE – NCT: RESONANCE 'Global Wave', which was held last weekend, was watched by more than 200,000 fans around the world. It sold millions of albums under NCT's name and drew hundreds of thousands of concertgoers.
"This achievement can never be easily achieved, and it clearly shows that it is presenting a new direction beyond the limits of the Korean music industry in a way that is different from the existing K-pop."
NCT, which made its comeback in October with its second full-length album involving 23 members, continued its hit streak by topping various charts with music and activities of various charms.
The album sold 2,680,920 copies (as of December 22), becoming a "Double Million Seller" and proving its powerful record.
NCT will appear on "SMTOWN LIVE "Culture Humanity," which will be broadcast free of charge around the world through various platforms such as Naver V LIVE, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok from 1 p.m. on January 1 (Korea time).
