BTS J-Hope 'Hope World' No. 1 in streaming albums of Spotify Korea.

BTS J-Hope (Jeong Ho-Seok)'s mixtape ranked number one in Korean solo singer album streaming on Spotify, the world's largest music platform.

Chart Data, a music ranking-providing website, announced on Twitter on the 3rd that J-Hope's mixtape (non-regular free albums) "Hope World" topped streaming among Korean solo artists' albums on Spotify.

"Hope World" is J-Hope's first solo mix tape released in March 2018, including the title track "Daydream," "Hope World," and "P.O.P'," "Base Line," "HANGSANG Feat." It has a total of seven songs, including "Superme Boi," "Airplane," and "Blue Side."

According to Spotify on the 3rd,'Hop World' has exceeded 2,242.2 million cumulative streaming. This is the result of streaming more than 200,000 times a day after surpassing 200 million streaming for the first time on the Korean solo singer album on March 15th.

BTS RM's "Mono" ranked second, IU's "Palette" ranked third, and BTS Suga's "Agust D" and "D-2" ranked fourth and fifth, respectively. It is notable that all three rappers of BTS are on the top five, showing off their global music power.

Hope World is also doing well on other major music charts. On June 11, it topped the iTunes album chart of the Fiji Republic, breaking the record of the top spot in 81 countries.

At the time of the announcement in 2018, for the first time as a Korean solo singer, he entered the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' for two consecutive weeks (63rd, 38th). J-Hope is still the only one to keep this record.
