BTS Reaches Top on Twitter, too.

BTS reached the top again.

On the 4th, Twitter released the results of its analysis of tweet data for 2020. BTS ranked No. 1 most mentioned K-pop artist in the world. BTS has also been the "most mentioned account in the world" for four consecutive years in the Twitter annual keyword announcement.

In addition, Twitter released a variety of rankings, including "National TOP20,", "National TOP20 with the most K-pop fans,", "Most mentioned K-pop artists TOP10," "Rising K-pop artists TOP10" and "Most mentioned songs TOP10."

Last year, 6.7 billion K-pop-related tweets occurred on Twitter around the world. This is an increase of more than 600 million compared to 2019.

Japan, the United States, Indonesia, South Korea, the Philippines, Brazil, Thailand, Malaysia, Mexico, and India were the countries that tweeted a lot about K-pop. In addition, Britain, Turkey, Argentina, France, Spain, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Russia, and Chile were listed in the TOP 20.

BTS's Dynamite, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 list for the first time in the world, ranked No. 1 in the world's most mentioned song.

Along with the analysis results, Twitter said, "Twitter supports a variety of contents such as Twitter Blue Room Live, Q&A, Fleet, Boystweet, and MAMA Stanbot so that K-pop artists and fans around the world can have various conversations."
