BTS V, the No. 1 star of the Japanese site K-pop idol

BTS V ranked No. 1 on Japan's K-pop idol ranking website "Neehan."

Japan's popular Korean Wave website "Neehan" announced the popularity ranking of Korean idol members on the 4th, and as a result, V ranked first overall with a total of 4,593 votes.

V was the only star on the list to get more than 4,000 votes. In particular, the results came out even though there were no solo activities or local promotions.

In addition, V was also ranked as the top 9 on the popular Korean actor ranking website "Bi-han." There is only one drama that V starred in, KBS2 drama "Hwarang" in 2017.

In Japan, V is called "TaeTae Land" after his real name (Kim Tae-hyung) and is showing special affection. V's self-composed song "Sweet Night" topped the Japanese iTunes Top Song chart. V is the only one to reach the top of Japan's iTunes Top Song Chart with a Korean release.

Biglobe, a Japanese portal site, also highlighted V's success, saying, "BTS V's "Sweet Night" is making history as a solo song due to its phenomenal popularity."

V ranked fifth, the highest among foreign artists, in the "Celebrity Ranking" of the Japanese Twipple Trend, which was settled in 2020. Popular Japanese groups SixTONES, Nogizaka 46, King & Prince, and Kis-My-Ft2 took the first place to fourth place.
