BLACKPINK 'KILL THIS LOVE' MV Hits 1.2 billion views...It's faster than "DDU-DU DDU-DU."

The music video for "Kill This Love" by the group BLACKPINK surpassed 1.2 billion views on YouTube. This is the second milestone of BLACKPINK's career.

According to YG Entertainment on the 9th, BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" music video exceeded 1.2 billion YouTube views at 0:38 a.m. that day.

This marks the second time BLACKPINK has more than 1.2 billion views of its music video, setting another new record for the first time in a K-pop group.

Their other mega-hit song "DDU-DU DDU-DU" previously reached 1.2 billion views, and the music video is now close to 1.5 billion views.

"Kill This Love" has reached 1.2 billion, 67 days faster than "DDU-DU DDU-DU."

"Kill This Love" ranked 24th and 41st on the U.S. Billboard 200 and Hot 100, respectively, in the first week of its release, breaking the K-pop girl group's highest ranking at the time. They also became the first K-pop girl group to top the U.S. iTunes song chart, showing their presence in the pop liquor market in earnest.

Since then, BLACKPINK has grown into a global girl group by expanding its musical spectrum with collaboration with famous pop stars such as Lady Gaga and Selena Gomez as well as active activities such as the release of their first full-length album "THE ALBUM."

In particular, BLACKPINK currently has more than 57 million YouTube channel subscribers, which is the No. 1 female artist in the world. Justin Bieber, the No. 1 player in the world, is rapidly catching up with 60.8 million subscribers.
