BLACKPINK Lisa is picking a designer for Paris Fashion Week.

Lisa, a member of YG Entertainment's girl group BLACKPINK, has been selected as a judge of the famous French fashion award for discovering innovative designers.

Lisa has been appointed as a guest judge of the "Andam Fashion Awards" organized by the French Fashion Association, the U.S. fashion magazine "Women's wear Daily" reported on the 16th (local time).

"BLACKPINK's Lisa, along with the other stars, has made headlines for the Andam Awards," the magazine said. "Lisa will help select the winner of France's prestigious fashion award.

Lisa, who is known as a fashion icon among BLACKPINK fans, joined the 14-member panel, along with Chinese star singer Li Wichun, French model and actress Lu Deweyon, famous fashion designer Kirby Jean Raymond, and Phoebe Filo.

Cedric Sharbit, chairman of the judge's committee and CEO of fashion firm Balenciaga, said the panel was selected to reflect creativity, diversity and new era trends.

In the designer industry, Andam Awards is considered a gateway to the Paris Fashion Week stage, one of the world's top four fashion shows.

The Andam Awards was established in 1989 with the support of the French Ministry of Culture, and has been awarded mainly to young designers with artistic and originality.
