J-Hope, a member of the group BTS, donated 150 million won to the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation on the 18th to mark his birthday.

According to the foundation, J-Hope explained the reason for the donation, saying, "I heard that the number of vulnerable families is increasing due to the prolonged Korona 19, especially the need for support for disabled children."

The foundation said, "J-Hope's donation will be used for child care, learning and facility support for visually and hearing-impaired children suffering from economic difficulties."

In 2018, J-Hope became the 146th member of the Green Noble Club, a group of high-value donors worth more than 100 million won.

At that time, he donated 150 million won to foster talent and spend it on children, 100 million won for a scholarship to his alma mater in February 2019 and 100 million won for treatment of children in December of the same year.

Last year, 100 million won was delivered to children in crisis families suffering from Corona 19, and a total of 600 million won has been donated so far.

Lee Je-hoon, chairman of the foundation, said, "With the regular sponsorship of global star BTS member J-Hope, interest in children suffering from economic difficulties is being raised, and the good influence is leading to inquiries from domestic and foreign ARMYs."
