BTS Fourth full-length album, best-selling album in the U.S. in the first half of the year

BTS topped the U.S. charts for the first half of this year with 'MAP OF THE SOUL : 7'. BTS ranked first on the chart of the most sold albums in the United States in the first half of this year with 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7'.

According to Nielsen Music's first-half 2020 report released on the 10th, BTS's fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" has topped the list of "Top 10 Albums-Total Sales" with sales of a total of 552,000 copies.

Nielsen Music's first half of 2020 report is a data analysis of music-related figures and trends such as sales of digital (physical) albums and digital downloads and audio streaming in the U.S., aggregated from January 3 to July 2, 2020.

The "Top 10 Albums-Total Sales" chart, in which BTS topped the list, combines actual album sales such as CDs, LPs, and cassettes with digital album downloads. In particular, BTS ranked first in the Top 10 Physical Albums, which only counts actual album sales, with a record of 528,000 copies.

'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7'in the'Top 10 Albums' chart that adds up to the number of streaming and downloads along with album sales, ranked 9th with 842,000 pieces, and in the pop field, real albums and digital downloads, audio streaming, etc. 'Top 5 Genre Artists', which counts the sales volume of the company, ranked second.

The American music media billboard also paid attention to the performance of BTS based on Nielsen Music's first half report.

Billboard said on the 10th, "BTS''MAP OF THE SOUL: 7'is the best-selling album in the United States in the first half of 2020 and the only album sold over 500,000 copies.

Billboard also said, "BTS sold 757,000 copies of all albums including CDs, LPs, cassettes, and digital albums in the United States in the first half of this year, and recorded the most album sales. "The highest number of copies is 700,000."
