Top idol group BTS ranked No. 1 as the most tweeted musician in the United States last year.
Twitter recently released rankings of various categories by analyzing 2020 tweet data. BTS topped "Most Tweeted About Musicians in the US"
Forbes, a U.S. economic magazine, highlighted BTS's Twitter record in a recent report and said, "It is impressive that BTS has overwhelmed many better-known stars (on Twitter) in the U.S., but it is not surprising to those who have watched the rapid rise of the Korean boy band."
Rolling Stone, a U.S. music magazine, also dealt with the news, saying that BTS topped the charts as the king of Twitter, beating Kanye West, Beyonce, and Drake.
In addition, BTS topped the list last year's "Most mentioned K-Pop Artist in the World," while BTS's Twitter account topped the "Most mentioned Account in the World" category for the fourth consecutive year.
"No. 1 most mentioned K-pop song in the world" was also BTS's "Dynamite". BTS recorded a total of six songs, including 'Dynamite' in the top 10 of the chart.
Meanwhile, BTS released "BE (Essential Edition)" on the 19th, and will be the first Korean singer to appear on "MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS" on the 24th (Korea time).
