BTS Joins 2021 Grammy Awards Performers for the First Time in Korean singer

BTS was nominated for the GRAMMY AWARDS Award at the U.S. most prestigious pop music awards ceremony, and joined the Performer list.


The U.S. Recording Academy, which organizes the Grammy Awards, announced on its official website on the 7th (local time) the 63rd Grammy Awards.


BTS was named alongside prominent global musicians such as Harry Styles, Cardi B, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, Post Malone, Roddy Ritchie, and Taylor Swift.



"Artists will stay together and play music for each other as a music community, and celebrate the music that connects us together," the Recording Academy said in a publication of the performers' list.


BTS made a new history in pop music history by being nominated for the "Best Pop Duo/GROUP PERFORMANCE" category for the digital single "Dynamite" (released in August 2020) on the 63rd Grammy Awards list released in November 2020.



This marks the third consecutive year that BTS has participated in the Grammy Awards. He was on stage as a presenter at the 61st Grammy Awards in 2019, and at the 62nd awards ceremony last year, he performed jointly with rapper Lil Nas X.

 

This year, she will be on stage as a performer at the same time as a candidate for the award, drawing attention from music fans around the world.



The 63rd Grammy Awards will be broadcast live worldwide on CBS in the U.S. on the 14th.
