GOT7 Youngjae makes his musical debut..."Song of the Sun" in May

The creative musical "Song of the Sun," starring a large number of popular idol group members, will premiere.

According to the production company Synthwave on the 9th, "Song of the Sun" will meet the audience for the first time from May 1 to July 25 at the Gwanglim Art Center in Apgujeong, Seoul.

The girl "Hannah," who sings in the middle of the night under the moonlight, meets Haram, a boy as dazzling as the midday sun, and advocates a "excited explosive romance musical" featuring the moment when she sings the brightest song of her life.

Starting with a Hong Kong film in 1993, it has been remade into a Hollywood movie following Japanese novels, movies, and dramas, and has been loved for a long time.

In Korea, she also performed as a musical starring Taeyeon of Girls' Generation at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in 2010. Unlike the previous musical, "Song of the Sun" is a completely new creation.

The spectacular casting attracts attention. Musical actor Cho Hoon, who participated in the lead performance of SHINee Onew, Day6's Wonpil, GOT7's Youngjae and "Song of the Sun," were cast as Haram. Onew appeared in musicals "Brothers Were Brave" and "Rock of Age." Won-pil and Young-jae will make their musical debut.

The musical production company Synthwave met with audiences from 52 countries last year through live streaming of Yoo Gwan-joong, the previous episode of the musical "Gwangyeom Sonata" among Corona 19. Based on this experience, the entire episode of 'Song of the Sun' is also scheduled for online live streaming.

It is expected to receive positive responses by appearing as a popular global idol. Tickets for the first offline performance will be booked at Ticketlink on the 12th.
