The global boy group BTS announced that they are against racism and violence.
On this day, BTS posted an official Twitter post in
Korean and English, saying,
"We are against racism. We are against violence.
I, you, we all have the right to be respected.
We will be together."
In this article, they once again indicated that they supported the anti-racism movement
by attaching a'BlackLivesMatter' (also important to the lives of black people) with a hash tag (#).
BTS' support came as a result of the recent spread of anti-racism in the United States.
They have consistently emphasized love and voiced against discrimination.
Protests raged across the United States last month
in Minneapolis, Minnesota,
when a white police officer pressed George Floyd's neck with his knees and killed him.
Online,'BlackLivesMatter' has been criticized against racism by posting a series of posts with hashtags.
Pop stars such as Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande,
and Beyonce also commemorate George Floyd on social media
while posting posts expressing solidarity with the black community and antiracism,
and some singers participated directly in the protests.
Large music companies such as Universal Music,
Sony Music, and Warner Records have called
the last 2 days'Blackout Tuesday' and stopped
working for a day.
