Group BTS' 'Dynamite' took second place on the US Billboard main single chart 'Hot 100' and kept the top spot for six weeks.

Billboard announced on the 5th (local time) that BTS's "Dynamite" ranked second on the Hot 100 latest chart.

'Dynamite' debuted at No. 1 in the Hot 100 on August 31, the first week of its release, and has continued to be popular at the top level, ranking first and second place three times each.

This week's Hot 100 was won by hip-hop singer Travis Scott's 'franchise'. Cardi B and Meghan The Stallion's 'WAP', who had been fighting for #1 on the single chart with BTS, was pushed to third place.

Hot 100 is a chart that aggregates the most popular songs in the U.S. every week, and ranks them by combining streaming performance, music sales and the number of radio broadcasts.

Along with Billboard 200, which measures album consumption, it is counted as one of the two main charts of  Billboard, and the single chart Hot 100 is closer to popular popularity and fierce competition.
