Big Hit Entertainment is taking legal action against malicious comments about BTS.

"We are taking regular legal action against authors of malicious postings containing defamation, insults, sexual harassment, false information and malicious slander against BTS," Big Hit Entertainment said on the 30th.

 

"We recently filed a complaint with the investigation agency based on new evidence collected through our own monitoring."

Several defendants were previously convicted and fined, as well as those who are believed to be continuing to write malicious postings despite being investigated for further charges. In such cases, we will continue to take legal action until we stop the act.

Big Hit said, "In particular, we plan to seek civil damages for suspects who continue their criminal activities even though they were convicted after criminal charges. We will take more stern measures to ensure that malicious actors receive strong legal punishment, and there is no agreement or leniency in the process in the future," he added.

We recently filed a complaint with the investigative agency based on reports from fans and new evidence collected through self-monitoring.

Several defendants have been previously convicted and fined, and are believed to be continuing to write malicious postings, even though they are currently under investigation for additional charges. In such cases, legal action will be taken continuously until malicious behavior is stopped.

Others have created dozens of accounts and created malicious postings. We monitored all accounts that are presumed to be those of the accused and proceeded with the charges against multiple accounts.

In particular, the company plans to proceed with civil compensation claims for suspects who continue their criminal activities even though they were found guilty after criminal charges. We will take more stern measures to ensure that malicious actors face strong legal punishment, and there will be no agreement or leniency in the process.
