The fan community of group EXO member Kai delivered 8.8 million won for treatment of childhood cancer to the Korea White Blood Disease Children's Foundation on the 14th to commemorate Kai's 28th birthday.
All donations received will be used in the name of Kai to support the cost of treating children with cancer, according to the donor's will.
"On the occasion of the singer's 28th birthday, I am happy to deliver my love to children who are being treated for childhood cancer again. I hope this donation will be a small hope for children who are having a harder winter than ever due to the Corona 19 Pandemics and the bitter cold," a fan community official said.
"Jongdalsae" is a fan community that began activities in 2012 when Kai debuted, and has been supporting childhood cancer patients through the Korea White Blood Disease Children's Foundation since 2016, with accumulated donations amounting to 63.8 million won.
