TWICE broke the record sales of girl groups with its 9th mini album "MORE & MORE".
MORE & MORE, which was announced on June 1, recorded cumulative sales of 563,000 copies (based on Gaon Chart shipments) as of July 2. This is the most popular girl group in the Gaon Chart's history, proving TWICE's highest popularity.
The album has received over 500,000 pre-order quantities as of May 27, and has received a lot of attention even before its official release. Twice, which has gained popularity in every activity, has achieved a cumulative sales volume of domestic albums since its debut thanks to the promotion of 'MORE & MORE'.
The figure was also phenomenal in cumulative sales of Korea and Japan. With 5.26 million Korean albums sold in Japan and 3.57 million albums shipped, the company sold more than 8.8 million albums.
TWICE also won the first place in the group's 106th music broadcast by winning the first place trophy in a row even after the end of its "MORE & MORE" activities. This is the number one record for most music shows in girl groups. The music video for the title track also surpassed 100 million views, setting an unrivaled record of "13 consecutive 100 million views" based on the active song.
