BTS V's self-composed song 'Blue and Grey' topped the list of line music

BTS V's self-composed song "Blue & Grey" has been loved as it topped the LINE Music Daily Chart, the largest music streaming site in Japan.

Blue & Grey, a song from BTS's "BE" album and V's participation in writing, composing and producing, recently achieved its best record by topping Japan's Line Music Song Daily Chart (February 28) after its MTV Unplugged performance.

"Blue and Gray," which received keen attention even before its release because V revealed that he captured his feelings in lyrics and melodies to overcome burnout, was highly praised by TIME as "the most poetic track on the album."

In the first week of the release of the "BE" album, "Blue and Grey" ranked 13th on the U.S. Billboard's "Hot 100", ranked 66th on the UK's "Official Singles Chart", 9th on the "Official Single Sales Chart", and 9th on the "Official Independent Singles Chart".

At the time of its release, it topped the "BE" album chart in Europe, including the U.K., Euro, Spain, Italy and Hungary, and ranked 12th on the "TOP100 song" chart of Rolling Stone, the leading U.S. pop music magazine, after the title song "Life Goes On" (11th).

In Hungary's 2020 Single TOP 100 year-end ranking settlement chart, "Blue and Grey" charted with V's another self-written song "Sweet Night," and on Melon, Korea's largest music site, it surpassed 30 million streams for the first time among the B-side tracks of the "BE" album.
