BTS, 'Person Who Shined Korea' selected by global CEO

CEOs of South Korean conglomerates have selected BTS as the "person who made Korea shine."

Monthly Hyundai Management, a management magazine, announced on the 16th that Hyundai Genesis (including Equus, 85.2%) and Korean Air (87.6%) were ranked No. 1 for 19 consecutive years.

Samsung Electronics' Smartphones (69.6 percent), LG Electronics' TV (56.0 percent), and SK Telecom (70.9 percent) ranked first in each category.

BTS (45.7%) was ranked first in the "Person Who Shined Korea" category, which was first included this year, followed by global soccer star Son Heung-min (34.8%) and Jung Eun-kyung (15.2%) head of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

GS Xi Apartment (22.1%), Shinsegae Department Store (40.0%), Shinhan Bank (23.4%), and Samsung Seoul Hospital (42.4%) had the highest preference in apartment, department stores, banks, and hospitals.

In the financial sector, Mirae Asset Daewoo (20.0%) was selected as the No. 1 securities company for the second consecutive year, while Hyundai Card (23.2%) beat Shinhan Card and took the No. 1 spot in the credit card company. Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance (42.0%) ranked first in preference for auto insurance.

Galaxy men's suits (29.7 percent), Geumgang shoes (63.9 percent), Palisade (50.0 percent), SK Encrine (35.2 percent), Samdasoo (65.9 percent), and Coway water purifiers (47.6 percent) were also selected as luxury items in each category.

In the liquor sector, Terra Beer (41.0%), Valentine's Brewery (39.0%) and Chamisul Soju (61.5%) ranked first in CEO preference. CJ Logistics (51.9%) had a high preference for delivery.

In addition, Seoul National University's MBA (46.8 percent), Inha University (40.0 percent), and Kyung Hee Cyber University (28.1 percent) were selected as CEOs' preferred luxury educational institutions following last year.
