Jimin's Global Fan Alliance donated rice for children struggling with Corona19.
On the 6th, BTS' Jimin's fan base 'JIMIN FANS UNION' was recently announced through the 'Goyang, Gyeonggi-do Children's Regional Center Council' for children suffering from coronavirus infection-19 (Corona 19) in Goyang and Gyeonggi Province. In the name of Jimin, 709kg of rice was donated.
This donation event is part of the 'Jimin's Rice Field' project in October this year.
The 'Jimin's Rice Field' project promoted in April raises funds through voluntary participation of fans, and grows dream rice, developed by the Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Technology Institute. This project started to donate the harvested crops to the place where they needed it in the name of Jimin BTS. This is the first case of a domestic star.
The Jimin Fan Union is currently growing ‘Jimin Rice’ in a clean area in the DMZ in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do, to grow rice. In the place where the project is going to be done, 'Jimin's rice field' sign will be placed and a list of participants will be posted using the QR code.
Jimin's fan base is exemplified by various donation activities at home and abroad. Recently, the overseas fan base "JIMIN DATA" continued to make donations in the name of Jimin to five organizations, including the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, Italy's Red Cross, Spain's Red Cross, the U.S. Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders.
