The Korean food industry is focusing on collaboration with BTS to properly target the peak season market this summer. They are quickly selecting models and working with BTS to launch and market their products.


According to a related industry on the 5th, Lotte Chilsung Beverage Co., Ltd. recently released a special edition of Chilsung Cider Peach and Cheonggyul BTS, which contains images of its members after selecting BTS as the Chilsung Cider model.

The BTS Special Edition is a product that features a package design that includes seven BTS members in “Chilseong Cider Green Tangerine/Peach”, which adds domestic fruit flavor while maintaining the exhilarating refreshing feeling of Chilsung cider, and a clear and clean brand identity.

Chilsung Cider is already enjoying the effect of being a model for BTS. Among the ARMY (BTS fan club), there is a great struggle to find a poster that is given as a free gift when purchasing Chilsung Sider. "Cider posters" are on the top of Twitter's real-time trend.

Baskin Robbins, run by SPC Group, also joined hands with BTS for marketing this summer. The company recently signed an advertising contract model and finished filming videos and pictorials of its new ice cream, which is scheduled to be released in August.

Accordingly, the company plans to release the advertisement video sequentially through cable TV and social networking services.

In addition, Baskin Robbins will introduce various promotional products such as "Project Light" in order to commemorate its meeting with BTS.

An official from SPC Group Baskin Robbins said, "We expect Baskin Robbins' August to become more special with BTS. The advertisement video contains BTS' charm that will make us forget the heat, so please look forward to it."
