Group BTS achieved cumulative million points consecutively in Japan's Oricon Chart weekly combined singles ranking with 'Dynamite'.

According to the latest chart released by Japan's Oricon on March 1, BTS's digital single "Dynamite," which was released simultaneously around the world on August 21 last year, ranked sixth (32,317 points) in the "Weekly Combined Single Rankings" (from February 15 to 21st). The cumulative sales point was 1013,911.

The Oricon weekly combined single ranking is a chart that ranks points based on the combined number of digital downloads and streaming counts.

BTS recorded its second million point after its Japanese single album "Lights/Boy With Luv" released in July 2019. "Lights/Boy With Luv" surpassed the cumulative million point in the weekly combined ranking on October 19 last year, about a year and three months after its release, while "Dynamite" achieved million points in six months, much earlier than this.

"Dynamite" is a song that contains BTS's wish to spread vitality and hope during difficult times with Covid-19, and has become a "global hit song" by setting various records, including the No. 1 spot on the U.S. Billboard main single chart "Hot 100." BTS was nominated for the 2021 Grammy Awards for "Dynamite" for "Best POP DUO/GROUP PERFORMANCE".
