“BTS=Covid-19” German radio DJ makes racism to BTS

BTS has been racist this time by a German radio host, and the fandom ARMY is demanding an apology from the host, while expressing strong displeasure at his racist remarks.

Matthias Matuschik, the host of German radio bayern3, mentioned BTS's performance on MTV Unplugged on the 25th (Korea time).

BTS has sang a total of five songs on MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS, which aired on the 24th (Korea time), including the title track "Life Goes On" of "BE (Deluxe Edition), which was released in November last year, and the digital single "Dynamite" released in August last year.

Referring to the broadcast, Matthias Matusik called BTS's singing of Coldplay's "Fix You" "a blasphemy" and said, "You will spend the next 20 years in North Korea because of this."

Matthias Matusik also expressed strong displeasure with BTS's "Fix You" singing, saying, "I'm an atheist, and it's blasphemy."

Upon hearing the news, the BTS fandom ARMY rose like wildfire to express anger. This is because there were remarks that could not be thought of as coming from the broadcaster's mouth, such as the expression of the stage already supported by the original author as "divine blasphemy" and the expression of BTS as coronavirus.

In response, ARMY immediately harshly criticizes the host's racist remarks through hashtags such as #RassismusBeiBayern3 and #Bayern3Racist on Twitter and other SNS.
