BTS won for 4 Billboard Music Awards

BTS broke the record of their own highest awards by winning four crowns at the'Billboard Music Awards' (BBMA), one of the three major music awards in the United States.

At the Billboard Music Awards held today (24th) in Korean time, BTS win 'Top Duo/Group', 'Top Song Sales Artist', 'Top Social Artist' and'Top Selling Song' in all four nominated categories.

They were called as 'Top Selling Song' winners at the Billboard Music Awards main ceremony held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, USA. This is the first time BTS has won this category.

In this category, BTS' 'Dynamite' is Gaby Barrett and Charlie Puth's 'I Hope', Cardi B and Meghan The Stallion's 'WAP', Meghan The Stallion's 'Savage', and Weekend's 'Blinding Lights'. Beat all of them.

They gave their impressions of the award. Leader RM said, "It is a great honor to be the winner of this meaningful title. We wanted to share fresh energy with everyone through 'Dynamite', and I think this award is the proof that we have achieved this. Thank you very much."

BTS has already secured three trophies, including 'Top Duo/Group' , 'Top Song Sales Artist', and 'Top Social Artist', at some pre-award awards in some categories through Instagram live broadcasting ahead of the main ceremony.

BTS scored two crowns at the Billboard Music Awards (2019), which was the previous record, but this year, they swept all the awards in the four nominated categories and recorded their own highest awards.

Billboard Music Awards, one of the three major music awards in the United States along with the'American Music Awards' and'Grammy Awards', are characterized by awards based on the Billboard Chart. The charts from March 21 last year to April 3 this year were reflected in this year's awards ceremony.
