BTS, 'Save ME' MV 500 million views, breaking the record of a Korean singer

The 'Save ME' music video of the BTS broke through 500 million views.

The music video for "Save ME," a track from BTS' special album "Young Forever," released in May 2016, exceeded 500 million views on YouTube around 1:42 p.m. on the 22nd.

With this, BTS broke the record for the most Korean singers by holding its ninth music video of 500 million views, following "DNA," "Boy With Luv" (Feat. Halsey), "FAKE LOVE," "FIRE," "MIC Drop" remix, "IDOL," "Dope," and "Blood Sweat & Tears."

BTS' 'Save ME' is a song that exudes emotional vocals and cool sound, and has formed a consensus with lyrics that express the feelings of youth wandering in the harsh reality.

In addition, the'Save ME' music video was shot using one-take technique to show the performance of BTS. In particular, the members of BTS singing in the wind against the backdrop of low-lying clouds double the atmosphere of a lyrical yet sad song.

BTS has a total of 25 music videos with more than 100 million views. "DNA" 1 billion views, "Boy With Luv" (Feat. Halsey) 800 million views, "FAKE LOVE" 700 million views, "FIRE" and "MIC Drop" remix "IDOL" 600 million views, "Dope" 500 million views, "Noddy" 400 million views, "Noddy." The music video for "Swan" has surpassed 100 million views.
